The projects, implemented under PMMSY and FIDF, aim to strengthen fisheries infrastructure, boost exports, and improve livelihoods for coastal and inland communities. A total of 16 fisheries projects, including hatcheries, feed mills, cold storages, and aqua parks, were either launched or had their foundation stones laid across India.
