The central government has approved Rs 85.62 crore under PMAY-G to rebuild 5,101 houses destroyed in the Jammu and Kashmir floods. Each affected family will receive Rs 1.3 lakh for construction, Rs 40,000 for toilets, and additional MGNREGA wages to support rebuilding efforts.
